↠ Appearance: Justine is described as 'slender and scrumptious' by Harry. She has long lean legs and is about 5' 4" without heels. Her face is lovely and sweet often described as looking like the-girl-next-door. Her hair is raven black and long, falling in waves when it's able to lay freely. Her eyes are dark hazel though it's hard to determine their color outside of dark when looking at her from far away. Her skin is pale but lovely and lively. She's described of being beautiful with a figure that entices sin. She has an hour glass shape and anything she wears she wears well. She appears to be unconsciously beautiful.

How she carries herself changes depending on the situation. Most of this will be expanded on in the personality section. When she has a hold on her emotions she appears as sweet, drugged or nonthreatening. Her over all demeanor during these times is specifically meant to not raise alarm. When she's given a specific order she can be serious, firm and unflinching though she keeps up the sweet visage through this as well. The last instance is when her emotions flare in which her eyes look feral or unsettling and her mask deteriorates showing the crazy emotions within.

There isn't much known about Justine's past prior to Thomas saving her from Bianca. She was about sixteen when he did this and because of that I head-canon that her family had placed her in a mental facility from which she escaped. This explains why her family never isn't mentioned and hasn't tried to look for her while taking into account the fact that she can't control her emotions. She would have been disowned and forgotten years before she escaped. There is more supports for this in her personality section but I can elaborate if needed.

↠ Personality:

Justine has two very different sides of her personality and these sides are opposite extremes. This is due to the fact that she lacks the emotional and mental control that most humans have. Justine will experience wild manic mood swings which are only quieted when Thomas is nearby to sap away those emotions. This trait also explains why the White Court loves her so much and how she's able to be a prolonged food source for Thomas. This part of her personality also means that when Justine feels any emotion she does so to an extreme and she's unable to control herself when this happens.

The first side of her personality it the one that appears around White Court vampires though specifically Thomas Raith. Thomas is a very important and prominent figure in her life. He'd saved her from becoming one of Bianca's whores and since she has become his dedicated food source. She feels indebted to him and happily gives herself to him. Over their time together she learns more about him, understanding him and loving him despite the monster that hides behind his pretty smile. She becomes his strength and will always put his own needs first. This is seen at the Red Court Ball when she asks for Harry's help but also countless other times through the novels. It also shows that she's loyal to Thomas and no one else.

She does anything for Thomas including reading lips, passing secrets and feeding him. Over their time together she becomes dependent on him. He keeps her rational and in that state she is logical, smart and able to pick up on the happenings around her while pretending to be hazy or unobtrusive. She uses everything she has to her advantage; her beauty and her mind. She is a very skilled actress having learned how to keep her thoughts hidden deep inside. Thoughts and emotions are often used against those who associate with the White Court making this skill a necessity to have. She looses this ability whenever Thomas isn't around to help her control her emotions.

While Justine has given herself completely to Thomas she continues to have wants and desires that are her own. She doesn't want to become a whore for the Red Court vampires and wants to make sure that Thomas is happy. She is very understanding and accepting of her situation, herself and Thomas. She sees the world as it is and not how people wish for it to be. Thomas is a monster but she also sees the man behind that, the man that saved her and is caring and constantly feeling guilt. This trait keeps her open-minded when facing new people and new challenges.

Justine is also very artistic which isn't so surprising considering her skills as an actress. She knows how to crochet which is seen once in the books, when she makes a birthday present for Thomas. She doesn't have a lot of time to perfect many tasks but this supports that she is patient and has the talent to learn other artistic or creative outlets if given the time.

The other side of Justine is when she's facing an extreme emotion. In this state she appears feral and intense. She becomes more animalistic and harder to control. In order to get this to pass she needs drugs or Thomas or time. Extreme emotional outbursts wear at her mind and will often end in her passing out or becoming to physically exhausted to feel. She can be violent during these times, going as far as scratching Harry when he gets to close to her. She's quoted as saying that Thomas 'quiets her' when she gets like this and that nothing else has been able to calm her down. When she completely snaps she usually doesn't speak but growls or cries out. These emotional outbursts can be violent towards others but also herself. The cause will effect the outcome of the outburst.

While this side of her isn't similar to Thomas's monster. It gives her a level of understanding that others in her position might lack. She knows what it's liked to be unable to control yourself and to let something darker out.

↠ Powers / Abilities:
Reading Lips: Justine can read anyone's lips and she often uses this ability to help Thomas or further her own goals.
Crochets: It's rather self explanatory.

↠ Inventory: Justine will arrive with nothing but her costume of rose petals from the Red Courts gathering in Grave Peril. The rose petals cup her breasts delicately while also creating a skirt around her hips. There is baby's breath weaved into her dark hair and she's also wearing a pair of pink heels. She is fully covered but barely.

↠ Reason for Playing This Character: Justine is a very dynamic and interesting character. She feels every emotion more than a normal person and clings to Thomas and those around her to make herself feel more grounded. She needs drugs or something to keep herself in check and whats more is that she knows it. She's smart and quick while appearing defenseless at the same time. It's all these things that I feel make her perfect for City of Sin. The city will feed her, fill her, build her up and then tear her down. She'll develop and change in ways that will be exciting to see and more exciting to play out. It's the city itself and it's relation to the sin's that has me very excited to play her here as well as wrestling with her own personal demons.

↠ What is Your Character's Sin?: Wrath

Justine has a lot of uncontrolled feelings. When her emotional state becomes volatile it usually turns to something akin to wrath, hate and anger. The root of these emotions are in her past abandonment adding to the fact that she feels everything to an extreme degree. Her hate isn't directed towards anything in particular, more herself and her inability to control her own emotions and actions. When she snaps she feels like a different person as if watching herself move without any control. She hates everything and nothing and constantly wrestles with these extremes. Her behavior in this respect is often self-destructive.

SAMPLES
↠ First Person:

[Justine watches her phone with a curious gaze. A thin finger gently glides over the casing as if caressing a lovers cheek. When she has the words set firmly in her thoughts she turns on the video function hoping that it might reach all of those in the city.

Her dark hair is tied back on one side while the raven waves tumble freely over the opposite shoulder. Her dark eyes are hazy but attentive to the screen. A sweet smile spreads over her lips appearing lovely but nothing more than a beautiful face.]

Hello, I'm looking for someone. If anyone here is willing to help.

[Her voice is gentle and she lowers her eyes.]

I was at a party before this. My companion isn't with me and I wish to know if he is here. His name is Thomas Raith. If you see him you'll know. He's tall with long black hair and gray eyes.

↠ Third Person:

Her prison walls where cold, solid and bare, trapping out all sounds that might tell her where she was. She heard the slow shallow exhale of her own breath and then the soft scrapping of chains against the floor. Her body ached and the warm comforting feeling that she'd grown accustom to was gone.

He'll come save me.

Justine believed that Thomas or someone might come to her aid. She had to believe that or else she'd feel herself slipping into the dark recesses of her thoughts. Time had no meaning when trapped in the darkness. She only had the rhythmic rasps of her own breath to count the seconds. Fear, anger and panic flared in her chest as her dark eyes turn up to the door holding her. Her breath quickened and her heartbeat began to thunder loudly in her ears.

Not now.

The calm voice echoed in her thoughts as if spoken by someone else. Justine's thin fingers grab at the sides of her head and she screamed as the madness press against her thoughts. She jumped forward only to have the chains bite and rip into her wrists, pulling her back against the ground. Her eyes became feral and dark as she glared at the door.

They're keeping her hear.

Justine pulled at the chains again, a crude growl rising from her chest as frustration and panic took hold of her. Slowly her other self slipped away until only the animal remained in her stead. She screamed a challenge at whoever held her wishing she could skin her lovely pale fingers into them.
